On tour with Emilie Autumn

I am pleased to announce I shall be on tour with Emilie Autumn during the month of April, with exclusive prints and postcards of my artwork available for sale as part of the merchandise. I shall be at the following dates:

April 15th: Paris, FR at La Locomotive
April 16th: Bristol, UK at The Bierkeller
April 18th: Sheffield, UK at The Corporation
April 19th: London, UK at Islington Academy

A NOTE ABOUT PRINTS - please read!

I will continue to sell 'budget' prints of most of my artwork through my DA prints store, but I would like to remind people that DA prints are printed on photo paper, and essentially look much like a photograph of the drawing/painting. I do not get to inspect these prints and have no control over them.

If you are looking for higher quality Giclée prints on art paper, then I do sell these as limited editions through my website at very reasonable prices. If you need any more information please don't hesitate to contact me!

Your drawings are beautiful. They look as if they were very fun to draw too. I have a friend who is apparently Aubrey Beardsley's great-granddaughter or something. I mention this because she seems to have inherited some sortof weirdness and artistic/creative gland. Now, I don't mean to sound crude, but if modern technology plus arcane magic could create the thoughtchild of you two, it might be the perfect being, or damn near it. Or it might just be a flipper baby. Hard to say=you never know. Well, buenos tardes. Really, I mean these things, even though I tend to sound sarcastic and odd.

You dear girl, are underestimating your talent. I've been an artist for quite sometime and you DO have what it takes. Your eye for composition, image balance and tone and hue are outstanding. And you're doing it with monochromatic colour schemes. I didn't mean to suggest that you bolt off and take art classes. I was trying to suggest the idea of trying some different media, that's all. You might surprise yourself. And I do like your work. I wasn't trying to offend you, but sometimes I'm blunt instead of diplomatic.

Hmmm...I really don't know what to think about Christiane's art. She has a natural raw talent with a savage bite. It is obvious the girl has an eye for composition. Maybe changing mediums and going outside the comfort zone will be the spark. I like it, I'm just not bowled over with the execution.
Christiane has looks and talent. Both will carry her far.
